Progress towards smokefree mental health services

According to a report published by ASH, 1 in 5 mental health trust still don’t have a comprehensive smoke free policy in place. In 55% of trusts, patients were not asked if they smoke on admission. This report was published on the 29/10/2019. The governments objective is for all services to go smoke free by 2018. More needs to be done for all mental health services to become a truly smoke free.
